Exciting, provocative tale of lethal reality show. Mar 16, Rick rated it it was amazing. A bit more well-placed exposition might have helped smooth the way. Though it has some rough spots, it took five years to write and a lot of research. I really enjoyed this book as it was quite gripping and was written well. There was enough of a difference in the magic and fantasy creatures for us to realise that we weren’t on Earth, to go further was just overwriting. Learn how we rate.

It’s easy to see why tinisher many readers have fallen in love with David Baldacci’s novels because his ability to string readers along and have them turn page after page is impressive.

Vega wants to know the truth and she wants to escape her world. She and her younger brother are living on their own, as their parents are in a facility awaiting their death. Parts seemed a little strange or confusing and I wanted to get some explanations so that Finished understand it a little better.

I couldn’t keep this book down and now it’s finished: Lost, like we were. There isn’t nearly enough strong female characters that kids can look up to in literature and Baldacci is trying to fix that with Vega Jane. I usually do not enjoy reading fantasy, but I do like Baldacci, so I thought I would try it.
